Tuesday (100th Post!)

When I started this blog I never, ever, imagined making it to 100 posts! Thanks to all my readers, especially the ones that stuck with me during the 4 months of laziness (i.e., unemployment).

Prepster Friday

I'm sorry that I didn't post yesterday, but I usually take my blog picture when I get home from work and the gym. However, last night I met an old co-worker for some sushi and wine and one glass turned into four and by the time I got home, needless to say I was looking less than blog-worthy. Today, I decided to take my picture in the morning, before I left for work and then just upload and post from there and I think I'm going to try to aim for that from now on. So mea culpa for no post for Thursday and let's hope I can manage a pic every morning. Happy Friday everyone.

Fail-Safe Classics

Gotta love the classic look of a pencil skirt. Its always a great wardrobe staple. The ruffle front blouse saved my outfit from bordering on a waiter's uniform and the pumps added some spice to the overall look.

Product Review

Mascara!! I found "the one"; the one to replace my beloved Chanel Inimitable Mascara . For those of you who read my blog, you know that I've been on the hunt for the perfect mascara for quite some time. I've tried designer brands, drug-store brands (literally everything, every brand, every new product on the market), I even tried out multiple mascaras at once by way ofSephora's Lash Blast set (which was a lot more fun than I made it out to be!). Well, I found my newest love: Rimmel Glam Eyes mascara. It does everything that the Chanel brand does but at a fraction of the cost ($30 for Chanel vs. $7.49 at CVS for Rimmel). I previously tried Rimmel's Sexy Curves and it worked well enough that I returned back to the Rimmel aisle on my last trip to the drugstore. I'm so happy that I did because I found a mascara that not only curls and lengthens but add volume as well. I absolutely adore it more than any other brand I've ever tried and I think this one is a keeper!

Back from vacation

No new pics from my trip to Florida because seriously, in 113 degree weather I wore nothing more than shorts and a tank every single day. Definitely NOT blog worthy.

These slacks are part of a suit I have but I have never worn them separately - until today that is! I remembered about this top and it matches perfectly with the turquoise pin stripe in the slacks.

On vacation....

I forgot to mention in my last post that I will be on vacation this week in (hopefully) sunny Florida. I'll be back next week, posting pics of anything that is more than just a pair of shorts and a tank...lol.

Sunday

I went to a 6 yr.old's birthday today at Pump It Up (which has moonwalks and bouncers of every single kind). This afternoon called for pure comfort to allow maximum jumping around possible! I think I enjoyed myself as much as the kids did!

A Case of the "Mondays"

I woke up with a case of the Mondays...lol...so a semi-casual outfit was called for.  It looks like business on the top with the dress and casual on the bottom with my riding boots.
Super comfy indeed.
