Pugs on Parade

No pics for Monday and Tuesday as the East Coast has been pummeled with flood-like rain which means water resistant (non-fashionable) clothing and rain boots. I saw this shirt and had to get it no matter how trendy it is. This is what I wore on Saturday.

Feeling a bit Mod

I felt so very mod in this leggings/tunic/flats and straight-hair combo. I love the burst of color from the cute red flats. I wore this with my black leather jacket and black leather Jessica Simpson bag from Friday. I loooove my black leather jacket, but didn't take a pic with the jacket on because I didn't want repeat pics of me in jacket/purse/scarf combo, but it did pull everything together nicely. I love how everything basic is so classic; flats, leggings, stripes -- how can you go wrong?

Oscar Awards

I watched the Oscars last night. Did you?! I honestly did not have a best dressed for the night, as I thought that mostly all of the dresses were just horrendous. Everything looked bedazzled to the 10th degree. What was up with that? Frizzy hair also made a come-back I see. Although that part, I can blame on the rainy weather.

So, I thought I was getting sick and was taking DayQuil like it was my job when I noticed I wasn't feeling any better. Allergies! It was allergies all along. We've been in such a grey-wintery slump here that I forgot what sunshine and birds chirping felt like. Thursday and Friday were tough days because of all the sneezing, congestion, watery eyes. This paler-than-usual version of myself was as good as it was going to get for a few days.
