Summer Makes a Return Appearance

Temps to soar to low to mid 80's today and tomorrow. I guess summer wasn't rid to leave just yet, and I wasn't ready to pack up all the summer stuff just yet either so I got one last wear out of my crisp, white top and sandals.

Slacker Posting

Sorry for the lack of posts this entire week. I returned from Florida on Monday night and I came back nice and sick. I don't know if it was the drastic temperature change (70's in Boston to humid 90's in Florida back to rainy and chilly 60's on Monday night). I did, however, get to spend a long, fabulous weekend with these guys right here. I love family.

Tuesday through Thursday were pretty much a wash for me. Luckily my entire firm was out of the office at a retreat and I was able to schlep it in less than appropriate office worthy attire. Seems like the cold is 80% gone and just in time for the weekend!

Friday

Dressed super casual today because I'm leaving work early to catch a flight to Florida to visit my grandparents for a long weekend. In college I backpacked through Europe and one thing that experience taught me was how to pack light! Now, I'm the queen of the overnight back in lieu of checking in luggage. So today I needed to be dressed not only comfortable but I wanted to wear the pieces that would take up the most space in my bag. I needed to bring running sneakers so I can go for a run every morning - out went the sandals, replaced by sneakers; scarves make for good blankets on the plane when its starts to get a lil nippy.
