I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. I know that I did! I lived in pj's for 4 glorious days, caught up on a ton of DVR'd shows and watched a few movies. After living in elastic waist-band pants for 4 days, I dreaded the thought of wearing anything structured. However, picking a wardrobe selection yesterday proved to be an epic fail. Now that we're in groove of the work week it seems I've got my work wardrobe groove back, or at least a little, teensy bit.

Today on the Yahoo homepage I saw a video about "Making the Most out of Your Basics" by remixing and re-wearing pieces because not all of us can afford to toss out clothing merely because we've worn it once. I thought it totally appropriate to link the video today as I have obviously not only worn this exact outfit before but the top and bottom have made numerous appearances on my blog. Its a shame all of us can't live the fashion life of the rich and famous (sigh).

Inconsistency

Hi readers! Sorry for the inconsistent postings the past couple weeks. Work has been a little crazy. Last week I had to work early and stay late and no one was up to take my pics in the morning and this week my work schedule has been all over the place as I had to attend a work-related wake, funeral and services.

Today, I have a good, old boring outfit, but at least I'm posting! Next week, I plan to do a post about one of my favorites things to buy -- peacoats. I currently have about 6 different style and color peacoats and my readers rarely if ever get to see me in my outerwear. Look out for my outerwear post next week!

Halloween

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween. We couldn't have asked for better Fall weather this weekend. I went as "cool" Sandy from the end of Grease; well as a Puerto Rican version - after some wig malfunctions it was natural brunette instead of blonde via wig. I figured it would be an easy costume to replicate, so I googled some "Sandy Grease" images and came up with this.
