Hello readers! I apologize a week of no posts last week but I once again contemplated shutting down the blog due to lack of fashionable outfits, and therefore posts. I'm in a major fashion slump - I can admit it! I haven't purchased any new pieces, no new shoes, skirts, bags, - NOTHING - it quite some time but thats because I've been trying to make better financial decisions. Whenever I come across some extra money, I immediately want to get a new outfit, pair of shoes, blazer but then I think "well, that can be money for a weekend getaway", or "that can help my parents get the new grill they've always wanted", and well, I've had countless other debates with myself wherein I forego a new purchase for putting in the savings account instead. As a result, I'm left with the same wardrobe pieces, I, by all accounts, have had for the last couple years. Every since I paid off all my debts (yes, I'm finally debt free), I just think of other things I can be doing with the money I have - travel, family, weekend events and my wardrbobe is suffering terribly. I don't think that this is fair to my readers that come read my blog to see a cute outfit and are only met with a repeat of fail-safe outfit. I'm sorry guys! I was very close to shutting it all down and saying "hey, it was fun while it lasted", but at the very same time I recognize that I may not be in the only person in this particular situation. I know a couple of other people that debate new purchases because they have something better that they want to save up for, so I do know that I am not alone. And because I am not alone, I decided to trudge on through and keep the blog going.
